Paul O'Brien, born in Birmingham, England to Irish parents, has always been involved in Irish music, as a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist. Paul, plays the guitar, bouzouki and bodhran, and has recorded over 20 albums. His latest album, “Plastic” was released in 2008. Though Paul has been living in Canada with his wife, Louise, and three musically talented children in their own right, he continues to actively tour the British Isles and Europe. His most recent undertaking has been recording and performing extensively in Germany. Paul's last life was as a teacher, which is quite apparent in his skill, professionalism, and manner in teaching music to children and adults alike. This is Paul's third CeltFest and we are looking forward to his uplifting music and witty presentations as MC onstage at the evening events.
