Carolyn Phillips Cusson
Carolyn acknowledges that the great instruction at and fun she had at dance camps in Ontario and Nova Scotia as a child made her not only a better dancer, but also gave her a stronger sense of her Celtic heritage. Gladys Forrester's Haliburton summer dance camp and Gaelic College's summer school were two of her favourites. She remembers summer school in Cape Breton being woken up each day to the pipes playing "Johnny Cope" and starting each day of Highland dance instruction after saying the Lord's prayer in Gaelic. She thinks that these formative experiences have made her more enriched in her life as a businessperson and teacher. bio
